It’s not even just AI, other companies like meta for Facebook, instagram, etc. do the same thing to content moderators, where they’ll use people in African countries like Nigeria, Kenya, etc. for cheap labour, to moderate horrifying extreme content, with moderators being left with debilitating PTSD, whilst providing them no worker rights, therapy, etc. facebooks been taken to court over this too before.

not using ai will not stop this by the way. corporations will never not use it and they will be big contributors in terms of money so it will continue to happen irrespective of if you personally use ai. If you aren't making a difference and choose to not use it either way you're a virtue signaler. Campaign for workers rights and pay, not against the workplace that isn't going anywhere.

Actually this is a job even before the AI, I knew for someone who worked on Facebook security team, they receive the reported videos or posts, and they have to see it to deny it or not, there were bots already at that time, but sometimes it makes mistakes. It was a team with a psychologist ready to assist them too.
