For those who don’t know; The wife, the blonde woman, was pregnant when her husband had decided to leave her. Him choosing that, given the time period, would leave her with absolutely nothing. So, she kills her husband by hitting him in the back of the head with a lamb leg and after that cooks it and goes to the grocery store for an alibi. When the police find out (that the husband died, not that the wife killed him) and search the home to find the blunt object, she offers to feed them the lamb leg because “it would be a shame for the dinner to go to waste” but the actual reason is to get rid of the murder weapon and have NO trace of her being involved in the murder!
