Police have launched a murder investigation after she was found with serious injuries at her home in Devon. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Detectives say there is currently no indication the incident was politically motivated or linked to terrorism. Tributes have been paid from across the political spectrum as the investigation continues. Politics often divides people, and everyone will have their own views on Ann Widdecombe's beliefs and policies. I won't remember her for her politics, but as a human being.
