Every now and then I see cobblers work their magic and I'm reminded that TECHNICALLY I have enough of the skills needed to cast a perfect mould of my feet in comfortable positions, make positives to build shoes around that look good and fit well, and make myself the perfect shoes. And then I remember it would cost me more to do that than it would to pay a cobbler to do it for me.
