I was hoping you’d get to operation Phoenix, I knew Evan James Parker Jr. near the end of this life. He was part of Operation Phoenix. There are some audio files online from when author Douglas Valentine wrote his book of the same title, came to his house in Potomac MD to interview him. He was one of the main characters that started the operation, but as soon as things got more complicated and political, he didn’t want anything to do with the project. When I knew him, he was old and suffering from dementia. He never talked about any of his military career or CIA career. There Isn’t much information about him online, but enough to let you know what his part in Vietnam was.
