@vet_lauren_: During his journey I had so many people question whether making Willy a tripod was fair and give him quality of life. Having had him on foster I knew it was the right decision. I’ve never met a dog like him before. He was so determined, all he wanted to do was run and jump and play. He would keep falling because of the bad leg and he would chew it in frustration. Waking up the day after his surgery and watching him run for the first time … made me remember why I chose to be a vet (and yes I cried) And before anyone comes for me in the comments about letting him run the day after amputation… I’m sorry but I couldn’t deprive this puppy of being a puppy a day longer #vetlife #veterinarian #vetsurgery #veterinarymedicine #animalrescue
