The prevalence of alcoholism in South Asian women aligns with the VAWG prevalence too. Men always drink more than women statistically, but I wonder if the figure is closer together in South Asia 😔💜. We need to work hard to change the world for these poor women who have no other option, and their family’s who played no part. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

She went through something we won’t understand! I recently lost my massi she was only 63 she drank her whole life away because her abuse she endured. She was beaten so badly that alcohol was the only thing that worked for her pain . She died from colon cancer and brain tumor. Her husband used to hit her head so much that her headaches never went away and alcohol helped 😫

alcohol addiction is extremely and quickly accepted in society. it’s really sad and not spoken about enough. i am truly sorry for your experience. no child should be robbed of their childhood. no woman should be robbed of her motherhood. there are no winners here. i am sending you lots of love and light to heal 🙏

my mum was an alcoholic for over a decade, she is now almost 4 years sober - she destroyed every relationship and lost everything. i stayed, but i have never been able to drink nor forget everything she did while drunk and the smell of wine makes me want to curl into a ball and cry. alcoholism is a horrible horrible disease

get her vitamin B1 (thiamine). she probably already has dementia. my mom had alcoholic dementia by 55 and was dead by 59. it's a real nightmare. im so sorry.
