I don’t think the mom wrong at all😭 yeah its petty she kept the phone the entire time but the daughter should’ve chilled out in the morning tripping over $2 that the mom said she would replace the mom kept giving her chances to give her back the phone but the daughter was tryna act like she runs shit when shes only 16. When your living under someone roof especially your parents what they say goes that just the way it is. Seems like the mom just wanted respect which is understandable considering the daughter has those episodes every other day plus shes a single mom like why add more stress when you got other siblings idk that lil girl has issues that’s probably the moms fault but idk the mom seemed kinda reasonable right here

In moms words “ shes a child, lives in my house” whole the daughter “ works, goes to work by bus, pays $200 a month all alone, her name is on the house lease. AND mom dosent fully own the house shes living in, dosent own the car she drives.

The mother isn’t a parent, she’s her partner! The baby is on the lease, pays her phone bill (200+), and her mom still tryna weaponize her age when it benefits her? One thing about parents, they’ll do a complete 180 when people come around.. acting like they never started or did anything. $2 was probably her bus money so why take it? Her mother had no right to take her phone and she only did it to get a reaction from her daughter? who does that? that’s weird asf. She literally said she needed her phone or a ride to work, never once said she wanted both she just wanted to go to work!

I think they both have issues with immaturity, and they're both clearly stressed as hell in life, but damn, her mom is toxic af, petty af, and not acting like the bigger person and de-escalating anything whatsoever. The way kids act is the product of how they were raised and the things they have experienced. She's definitely a problem child, I hope this family gets the support it needs.

I technically I tried very hard to see two POV’s but I can’t see it like I literally cannot see it because why take a teenager phone after they pay for it and they are on your lease so they’re also paying for that they bought and I think you can check their phone to see that everything they bought is on their device to see that they bought everything and everything‘s on her phone so she needs everything from her phone, so whatever their brain is thinking disrespectful, you mean a kid that were trying to get her phone back because from her perspective, all her monies there and she pay for that phone. She owns that phone technically so her mother would be technically stealing from her that is caused from stealing he should be arresting her mother cause technically you can go to a store, and if you bought it yourself with your own money, it would be because of stealing if someone else took it without your permission.
