@jordfinance: Before you click “buy” on your next stock, you need to look at the hard numbers. Here are the 5 foundational metrics I use to check to see if a business is actually strong: 1️⃣ Revenue – Is the company consistently growing year over year? 2️⃣ Earnings – Are profits actually rising alongside that revenue? 3️⃣ Operating Cash Flow – High earnings don’t mean much if the company isn’t generating real cash. 4️⃣ Balance Sheet – Compare total cash to total debt. Healthy businesses don’t rely on excessive debt to grow. 5️⃣ Valuation Metrics Check the Forward P/E. Even an incredible company is a bad investment if you overpay. These numbers tell us if the business is solid—but how does it stack up against the competition? 👇 Drop a comment if you want Part 2 on how to compare these metrics across the industry! Not financial advice, of course there’s many better ways, in part two I’d explain DCF and the importance of comparing valuation metrics to others in that sector #investingtips #stockmarket #warrenbuffett #PersonalFinance #valueinvesting
