Double check the color tube. Typically the color tube will have the color name printed somewhere since all the rest of the components aside from the color tube are reused across all of their boxes

Most hair dyes have the name/colour code printed on the tube make sure to always check to make sure

here's my horror story: nobody switched it, it was at the manufacturing level! they had put the electric blue dye in the plum purple tubes and vice versa. I wound up with a gorgeous blue colour...however I cried and was so upset because I wanted purple

hey this might be a really stupid question but when using box dye how do you do a test strand? i’ve heard the dye chemicals have a “time limit” on them being useful? so if i do the full time on a test strand, it’ll go past the time limit for the dye to do my whole head? sorry if this doesn’t make sense or if it’s a stupid question

Here in the uk. We have a colour on the box and the tubes of dye. So you can make sure they match before using

They started puting stickers to seal the boxes at my local store cause it was such an issue! also the company started putting the number of the dye on the tube as well not only on the box

do y'all box dyes not come with marked bottles??? I always check my box bleach for it's 'tone number' on the bottle to make sure It's the right one
