@theevideodiary1: By the way these behaviours don’t stop an end when they’re a baby all of the foundations they learned from one to 7 continues for the rest of their life so that behaviour can still be seen in some kids at the age of 15 even if the neglect stopped at three years old

I got the “finish everything on your plate” treatment even if I were full, I still catch myself stuffing food in my mouth till I realise I can just stop 😭

I used to hide food because my mum shamed me for my weight. She never said it out loud but her actions spoke loudly. My daughter is almost 7, she is who she is & she is loved regardless. Insecurities of my own weight will never affect her. If she’s hungry she’s allowed to eat, it doesn’t need to be chocolate or crisps, some times it is but I’ll never say no to my girl if she’s telling me she’s hungry.

Rapid eating can sometimes be associated with trauma or food insecurity, but it isn’t proof of either lol. Many children who are well-fed and well cared for simply eat quickly because of their personality, appetite, habit, or conditions such as ADHD. Professionals don’t diagnose trauma—or neglect—from a single behaviour. They consider the child’s overall health, development, and home environment.

that's crazyyyyy! my 7 month old has such a routine with food, you're telling me other parents don't have a routine with that when the child is older??? and with her meals, we do the meal and then a little dessert cause i don't want her to associate desserts and snacks as a reward 🥺

As child I could only relate to adults and I’m 23 and people call me grandma but I’ve never been able to act as a kid without getting in trouble
