Aww, thank you 🫶🏽 I'm Portuguese living in Germany. I'm not so sure about the drivers part, but helping strangers, especially older people is absolutely right, that's how we're raised, so it's nothing really special, it is like using an umbrella when it rains. It feels great to be helpful and kind, doesn't it?

Portuguese girl here! 🇵🇹 When I was in Miami, I walked out of a store and held the door open for the person behind me, something that’s completely normal for us in Portugal. The girl was so touched and thanked me over and over. I honestly thought, “It was just holding the door!” I guess it’s just part of who we are and how we were raised. ❤️

So true, I have lived here for 17 years and feel the same , the kids are polite and well mannered . Walk into any shop , they will greet you . Beautiful country with beautiful people. Lot of compassion .
