@ten4talks: No big rig. No ELD. 8 loads today at $150 a piece. This hotshot driver said he does pretty good — and honestly it’s hard to argue. Would you go hotshot over big rig? Drop it below 👇 #Ten4Talks #TruckDriver #HotshotTrucking #Trucking #CDL
I run local hotshot. Do anywhere from 5-7 loads daily. $225-$400 per load. Usually net about $1000 per day. Home daily, weekends off.

Im a dispatcher for a hotshot company, I put together 5 partials last week or so, about a 4-5 day drive for $12.7k. My driver sure was happy. Hes an owner operator and keeps 75% of the load value.

So many ppl act like hotshot hurting the industry. The industry was hurt before hotshot. It was plenty of bad carriers in semis already

9/10 the driver doesn’t know anything about the truck nor the trailer. It’s important to take initiative to take care your equipment, at least basic maintenance; brakes, oil and fuel filter changes. Do your homework, invest into working on your equipment as much as possible.

Depends on your hustle. Weeks that I stayed local it was an easy $5k without effort. When I crossed state lines I jumped to about $8k a week. I have CDL with air ride 40’ trailer. Hope this helps for anyone wanting to get started. ✌🏾

Semi is better but don’t listen to everyone it all depends on your drive I work 5 days a week run maybe 3 hours out and come back and bring home about 4.5k to 5k a week but u have to save for maintenance and other things
