I think it’s really dehumenising to call humans male or female because any animal can be called female: dog, cat, a human, so why use female when there’s a word for it: woman, yes you can argue that u didn’t want to upset people with different identities but you can simply say biological women without dehumenising the women by calling them female

For everyone confused, when referring to something as "female" that can also include animals which is why some ppl are so mad abt it. "Female" what? dog? cat? human? It's that easy to just call someone a woman and move on, even if it isn't as inclusive

I understand the reason why you used the word female but still don’t call someone by a name they hate, even if for a 100 women only one gets mad and the rest do not care then still it’s not that hard to use any other name, I’m not trying to say you had any bad intentions but now that people tell you to stop just stop saying that, I know female is just a scientific name and not a slur but it’s had been used as a slur for centuries and especially today it’s often used to degrade women and make them seem like they’re not human and simply an animal, the growing popularity of using female to describe women is actually a very dangerous thing bc it subconsciously teaches people that women are not human, woman can be only used for humans while female is used to describe animals, to describe animal’s ability to produce offspring, the more people use it, the less people care about woman as humans and start normalizing awful behavior since it’s okay to torture animals, this is literally the reason racism was so normalized, people used to call poc N word as if they’re some sort of animals and it caused them to not care about how poc are being treated, as I said before I know you didn’t have any bad intentions but I need you to realize how dangerous it is to use the word female as a synonim for a woman
