Most people will probably ignore this, or this edit will just flop, but I still want to say it. To me, it was obvious that Seongje cared deeply about Baekjin. Baekjin was the only person who truly mattered to Seongje. I honestly don’t understand where the Seongtak ship came from. In my opinion, it just doesn’t make sense. They clearly hated each other, and this isn’t an enemies-to-lovers situation. 💔 Please stop being so delulu. 😭 I’m not hating on that ship at all—this is just my opinion. On the other hand, I’ve seen people say that Baekjin didn’t care about Seongje, and I don’t think that’s true either. And no, I’m not being delulu. Baekjin is a very reserved character who doesn’t express his feelings openly. You can only really understand what he’s feeling through his expressions and the way he looks at people. For example, when Seongje tells him, “You didn’t even ask if I was okay,” and then walks away, you can see Baekjin’s eyes start to fill with tears. They’re subtle—he doesn’t break down crying—but they’re there.
