Puss in Boots 2 did it right. Gave us a villain who was just doing his job yet seemed to enjoy it and was pissed when he couldn't, and who was actually scary, and gave us a villain who's just evil for no reason and who was hilarious

Bro I recently rewatched the princess and the frog again and let me tell you, Dr. Facilier being his eccentric evil self is SO much more entertaining than watching any of the modern Disney "villians." Bring back unapologetically evil characters in fiction, man!!

I want villains to be evil with no excuses. thats why I like zurg from the buzz lightyear show so much, he really didn't have any reason to be evil except that he thought it was fun.
