generally drop ceilings are hiding something. most ppl would not go through the unnecessary expense and headache installing a drop ceiling for looks

Push up the old and put the new under. You’re taking away insulation. Your elec will go out thru the roof!

I hesitantly replaced my drop ceiling last year, because I really liked have easy access to the plumbing above. But it's the best decision I ever made. It looks and feels so much better, and I built in access panels for the plumbing 😊

what you SHOULD have done is remove all the tiles and frame and just insulate the roof and paint it and have a cute higher roof
