I accidentally walked into a black church in a small town in Tennessee. I didn’t know it was a black church. All I knew was I wanted to take my kids to church. They were little at the time for three and 18 months. I have never been welcomed with so many open arms my son went to the nursery ate some animal crackers and everybody there was so welcoming and so kind to us anyhow we stayed there until we had to move, but while we were there, my oldest got baptized when she was six by the black pastor I haven’t been back to church really since then I can’t find one that feels like home. I’m in Texas now. I guess it’s a little different around here. All these big mega churches. It’s just too much for me. That church will forever hold such a nearer end your place in my heart.
