@seeandsavethedogs: UPDATE: Rescued 🎉 LESS THAN 24 HOURS 💔🆘🚨 SENIOR GIRL ROSE DIES ON SATURDAY 7/11 🚨🆘 Rose has been posted 3 times, but no one has come to save her yet 😭 This sweet senior girl was brought to the shelter as a stray last month. She was microchipped, but no one came to redeem her, leaving ROSE abandoned and homeless at 9 years old. She just became available for adoption 2 weeks ago and is already scheduled to die for displaying fear, anxiety & stress in her kennel. She hides from staff in her cubby (growling with her whole body shaking in fear when staff approach her kennel door). But ROSE is soft and timid the moment she steps out of her kennel. This mature darling simply needs out of the shelter and into a loving home environment where she can decompress and begin to feel normal again. She longs for connection and warms up with reassurance and kindness. She’s very sweet and loving, just needs a calm and gentle approach. While ROSE has participated in playgroup, she mostly keeps to herself but has started to mingle more. This is a dog trying her best to survive. Please help our friend ROSE before it’s too late. ROSE is ALERTED & DEADLINED for EUTHANASIA because she is scared in her kennel and overwhelmed by shelter life. She will be put to sleep anytime after 8am on SATURDAY 7/11. She is available for foster, adoption, or rescue at the South Los Angeles Shelter. Adoptions must be done in person.
