I’ve recently been warned about the potentially huge tax disadvantages of actively managed funds that have crazy high turnover rates. I was researching funds with medium to high expense ratios to see if the average growth + income would be worth the expense and didn’t know to be aware of the capital gains associated with turnover. So now I’m evaluating funds differently. Can you do an explainer on taxation of the capital gains associated with the turnovers vs funds with lower turnover? It would sure help me and probably others too. Appreciate all you’re teaching us here!

I have heard that everyone will get a AI bot to help direct you in investing. Those bots and institutions will still have a fiduciary responsibility to the investor. I guess this is a new thing for investors
