@anappealtoheaven97: For thousands of years, our entire existence up until recent decades (for most of the world), we lived as part of nature. Each day came with its own struggles, the fight for survival. Now look at the normal day in recent times. The struggle is not life or death, instead we struggle over making it to work on time, simply getting out of bed for some of us, attempting to avoid traffic on the roads only to get stuck in a line of hundreds of cars contributing to the rising global CO2 emissions. It makes one question the meaning of life in modern times. It’s no surprise that the average individual is out of shape, mentally unwell to some extent, and kept busy with menial tasks similar to a child in grade school. Is it unreasonable to follow this lifestyle? Not at all. Why would it surprise you that we do what we’ve been told to do for our entire lives.
