I loved this first episode! Im used to seeing GitS as so gritty, and serious. Its nice to see a new (by which I suppose i mean 'Manga-accurate') side to the Major thats a little more fun, jokey, and emotive.

The girl who got fried by the attack barrier isnt a real person, shes just a robot made to look like a girl. Public Security uses a bunch of them in the various GitS adaptations
