I know this sounds weird, but when you let the ball descend the second time, gravity ends up amplifying your impact, giving you a super powerful serve. If you rush and connect with the ball while it’s still rising, it’s like opening the rice cooker before it’s done— you’ll ruin it 😤 Let that ball cook a lil bit in the air, and when it’s finally dropping, give it a smack and you’ll notice a huge “crack” sound off your paddle. i used to play table tennis in college, can't do the regular serve in pickleball. then i started to teach myself with the drop serve. this clip is real. let it fall down a little bit then smack that sht. it's now one of my primary weapon.
