@phoenixferals: The news we’ve been waiting for! Last week, Tom had an echocardiogram at the cardiologist where he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and pericardial effusion (in addition to his severe hyperthyroidism). We’ve had him on multiple new medicines this week to try and draw the fluid out of his heart, and today was the follow up scan to see if his body was responding. 🥹🥹🥹 We still have a long road ahead, but I’m still so hopeful that Tom will have a long and happy retirement indoors 🖤 #healthupdate #chf #feralcatrescue
