The problem is not necessarily the him not entertaining him, or centering his guest. The problem is that he accepted to host when he knew he wouldn’t be able to properly do so/ actually want to. Shame on both of them for not communicating properly before hand. People say “yeah come visit” when they have no intention of following through.

I hate this so much because I am the absolute opposite of this. I will come up with a bunch of plans for anyone visiting and options depending what they feel like doing then I feel like it’s never good enough and you end up being this person when people visit. Cuz like I tried to make things fun and exciting and perfect and now when you come, figure it out yourself.

As someone who loves to host, I cannot imagine behaving this way. Act interested in your guest! Make them food and give them beverages!! Make sure they have everything they need!
