Oldest daughter-diagnosed autistic, highly gifted in math and language arts, tied her shoes and potty trained slightly late, taught herself cursive handwriting in elementary school and developed sensory issues as she got older. Middle child-didn’t meet diagnostic criteria, had sensory when he was young but grew out of it, didn’t tie his shoes until high school, potty trained pretty late, academically average, terrible handwriting. Third child-diagnosed autistic. Almost in high school, still can’t tie his shoes, potty trained very late, sensory issues since elementary, highly gifted, terrible handwriting.
