I’m fine with it if it comes with respect as a whole! I still do experience racism in white countries and this whole qipao trend (esp when credit is not given) feels like people just picking and choosing certain elements of a culture while still holding stereotypical beliefs and perpetuating jokes with racist undertones. Same w lehengas & “Ibiza” style clothes blowing up. I even saw a video, which had a lot of likes btw, about being grateful to not be born Indian 🫩
