Dear Canadians, the fact that artizia has existed in Canada for a long time doesn’t negate the fact that it has GROWN QUICKLY in recent years. Old brands can grow quickly as well. It just means that something caused the brand to become popular all of a sudden and they EXPANDED within a short space of time. I hope this helps.

I'm 45 and been shopping from Aritzia for a while. Their Effortless and Babaton line is incredible durable and well tailored. I have so many of their clothes that fit to perfection. Aritzia been that girl but social media made it look like fast fashion now.

What the girl is describing is called private label. It’s where a brand buys styles someone else has designed/ manufactured and the brand puts their own label on it. Maybe Aritzia used to do this, but if anything, manufacturers might make extra fabric and extra units of Aritzia styles to then sell with other labels on it. Aritzia wouldn’t loosen its grip on fabric quality, fit and workmanship to do this now
