Hi, I work at HD. Not that long ago they implemented a policy where if you want to buy a penny item and it rings up at that price we are NOT supposed to stop the sale and just let you buy it at that price. Some other associates don’t let you buy it idk why but policy states you can. I can find the picture of it and show you later

I do penny shopping in other stores. I havent gotten the hang of home depot though. Would really love to learn. Do you have employees price check prior to checkout or is that a no no?
