Next Release from the Band “Flor Inexacta” Will Be “Línguas Sagradas” – A Song to the Earth, Roots, and Belonging This EP was born from a deep emotional and cultural exploration of the territories where ancestral voices still echo. These are the languages that form the foundation of the Portuguese spoken in Brazil today. The project includes five tracks, each sung or inspired by an original language — treated here as sacred tongues. Each song is an invitation to listen not only to the sound, but to the soul of these languages and the lands they come from: Track 1 – Guarani (Brazil/Paraguay) A tribute to the Indigenous peoples of South America, with lyrics in original Guarani. Instruments: nylon-string guitar, Indigenous flute, maracá, seed percussion, and log drum. Track 2 – Kimbundu (Angola) The predominant language in the Luanda region. A song of resistance and reconnection with the mother continent. Instruments: dikanza (Angolan reco-reco), batuque, kalimba, female polyphonic chorus. Track 3 – Emakhuwa (Mozambique) The most spoken language in Mozambique, celebrating the pride of its voice. Instruments: xipalapala, timbila, hand drums, and an African-tuned acoustic guitar. Track 4 – Azorean (Fado from the Azores) A song of longing and crossing, sung with Azorean accent and soul. Instruments: viola da terra (10 strings), adufe, fiddle, soft accordion, and ocean ambience. Track 5 – Cape Verdean Creole Singing its islands and resilient spirit with joy, faith, and rhythm. An ode to the African diaspora in the Atlantic. Instruments: cavaquinho, ferrinho, funaná beat, traditional drum, and Creole backing vocals. Coming this September, on all platforms. #FlorInexacta, #LatinoSoul, #MusicaConAlma, #LatinFusion, #PoesiaQueCanta, #VozesDoExilio, #CancionesDelCorazon
