@nismediateamshq: NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE LAUNCHES PERMIS FRAMEWORK, SIGNS DIRECTORATE PERFORMANCE BONDS The Nigeria Immigration Service today held the official launch of the Performance Evaluation and Results Management Information System (PERMIS) Framework, the Directorates Performance Bond Signing and the Investiture Ceremony at the Service Headquarters, Abuja. 2. Delivering the welcome address, the Deputy Comptroller-General Planning, Research and Statistics Directorates, DM Bagari, pcc+, underscored the importance of the PERMIS Framework as a strategic tool for institutional excellence, performance monitoring, and improved service delivery. 3. In her remarks, the Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn, fspsp, reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to fostering a high-performance culture anchored on measurable outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement. She emphasized that the successful implementation of PERMIS would strengthen institutional efficiency and align the Service with the Federal Government’s Public Service Performance Management reforms. 4. The event featured the formal launch of the PERMIS Framework, followed by the signing of Performance Bonds by Heads of all Directorates of the Service , signifying their commitment to achieving clearly defined institutional targets and delivering measurable results. The Programme also featured the investiture ceremony for PERMIS Ambassadors and Focal Persons who will drive the implementation and monitoring of the framework across the Service. 5. The PERMIS framework launch reaffirms Nigeria Immigration Service commitment to institutional transformation, transparency, and the delivery of efficient, accountable, and citizen-centred immigration services in alignment with the Federal Government’s Public Service Performance Management Reform Agenda.
