By recognizing that God was in control of his destiny, Joseph was freed from seeking revenge and could instead love and provide for his brothers. God is not a passive observer. He works all circumstances of human life—even tragedies and injustices—together for a greater, redemptive good. Instead of focusing solely on the pain inflicted by others, trust that God is sovereign over your circumstances and is using the situation to prepare you for a greater purpose. God bless you
