notice how he says we're allowed to request it that's because they're not allowed to demand it. unless you specifically as a passenger are suspected of committing a crime or we're not wearing your seatbelt because they can get you on that one then you are not required to give your identification as a passenger during a traffic stop and they cannot threaten you with arrest for failing to do so
