LETS SPREAD THE GOSPEL!!ln Ephesians 2:10, Paul writes, 'For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.' This verse reveals something profound about your existence—you are not an accident or an afterthought. You are a masterpiece, crafted with intention for specific purposes that God had in mind before you took your first breath.
The word translated as 'handiwork' is the Greek 'poiema,' from which we get our word 'poem.' You are God's poem, His work of art, designed to express something unique about His character to the world. This truth transforms how we view even the most ordinary days. Cooking dinner, analyzing data, teaching children, or driving a delivery truck—all can be sacred work when done as an expression of who God made you to be.
But many of us struggle to identify our calling. We look for something dramatic or acclaimed, when often our purpose unfolds in the faithful stewardship of our particular gifts, passions, and opportunities. What comes naturally to you? What needs do you notice that others might overlook? Where does your deep gladness meet the world's deep need?
Take time today to list three things you know you do well, then ask God how these might be part of His prepared works for you. Remember that your primary calling is to relationship with Him; all other purposes flow from that center. Walk through this day with the dignity of someone crafted for significance, looking for the good works that have your name on them. IN JESUS NAME WE SAY
