hear me out… daniel is in silo 1 (or his descendants) and he’s the AI. Maybe he mutated w the nanotech his sister saw and became immortal or they preserved his consciousness by replacing his body’s cells? maybe he’s somehow behind this and the algorithm isn’t the mind behind it, it’s daniel.

Ok that’s a good guess but here is a better one. Daniel gives the watch to Helen Helen ends up in silo 18 you know Helen ends up in silo 18 because the dispenser ends up in silo 18 and that’s how George ends up with not only the past the sensor and the watch Daniel is the voice on the other side of the server room. My guess is informed based on the books. Daniel ends up being in silo one which is the silo that controls all the other silos and Helen ends up and another silo, but because they’re given something to forget their memories, they don’t remember each other until Daniel starts to remember.
