SWIFT and the DTCC did not include XRP because they are building closed, private loops for their own member banks. But by forcing the entire financial industry to standardize its data language (ISO 20022) and run 24/7, they effectively built the digital on-ramps. Ripple, RLUSD, and XRP are waiting right outside those gates to handle the open-market liquidity, cross-border bridging, and instant asset settlements that private banking ledgers can't do on their own.
