so. in the US we have houses like that. we designed HVAC systems to cool them when it gets hot. we have been doing it for many decades. the UK is just very behind the times.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and cement and brick keep it cooler. You just have to have an AC on.😂

The most basic thing to do is turn the air conditioner on. And if you don't have one then you get a little smarter and put an air conditioner in. I hope that helps.
