@rmntamina: Living with a chronic illness forces you to think differently about work, income and long term sustainability. I pivoted from healthcare to remote work because at some point, I realised I couldn't continue forcing my body to survive a lifestyle that was slowly draining it. Constant exhaustion, pressure, running on empty & no real security. I needed a way of earning that wasn't entirely dependent on my physical ability to show up every day. Because the reality of chronic illness is that some days you can do everything. And some days, just getting through the day is enough. So a traditional role no longer felt secure to me. I started off building something quitely around my other commitments and and nearly a year later, l left all together. I now work when I want, from whenever I want & my income is not dependent on my ability to show up! If you're looking for more time, flexibility and freedom..
