That’s disappointing. What’s the point of having security cameras throughout the car park if the footage can’t be used to assist the people who actually use the facility? Most customers would reasonably expect those cameras to help investigate incidents such as theft, vandalism, or vehicle damage. Otherwise, it raises the question of what purpose they serve beyond simply being there.
