As a former WoW Healer, I have one rule. Play like you deserve to be healed. If you pull too much as a tank, if you're dps and start pulling aggro from tank, and if you don't give me three seconds to regain mana after a large pull... You're not getting healed. Thanks for coming to my Tedd Talk ^.^

I havent played WoW since 2013, but one my my fondest gaming memories is when I was healing some raid and we accidentally pulled 2 groups of trash in between fights. Tank called for us to wipe so we could get back but then was like "actually maybe we can do this" cuz i went HAM on my Pally healer and kept both MT and OT up simultaneously as they tanked the 2 groups. Someone printed the heal numbers after the fight and everyone was virtually patting me on the back...Never felt aura like that in a video game since....core memory. 😝

As a seasoned tank... I just take the hits and hold the aggro... I ask my healer if they are ready before I pull any mobs and its a silent agreement that we let the hunter who doesnt wait, die.. 🤣

Nah, I call BS as a 20+ year tank main, I am in charge... and part of being in charge is making sure my healer is a happy little guy and listening to them before doing anything lol

The tanks are not in charge. Because any good tank sets the pace based on how much the healer can handle. Newer healer that’s learning? Smaller pulls. Veteran healer who knows what they are doing? Bigger pulls. So sure the tanks go first, lead everyone else around. But they set that pace by testing the healer and getting a feel for what is too slow and what is too much.
