I used to babysit for a couple who were like 25 years apart and met when she was like 20. They’re about 40 and 65 now and they’re a lovely family they’re amazing parents and the kids are some of the nicest smartest coolest kids I’ve ever babysat. I genuinely adore them all. I’m not saying all age gaps will end this well but it’s totally possible

Had a church and one couple there was newly married and the age gap was incredible big. The girl was 20 and the guys was 40 in the church the women pastor had told them that marriage was sent from god later on not even a year the guy disappeared back to his mother.

my parents were 30 and 55 when they got married. 25 years later they have had a loving and supportive marriage. however, i can see how much of a toll it takes on my mom, at 55 to take care of my dad who is 80 and can not keep up with her energy anymore. adding to that health issues that come with age, it is difficult for both of them, regardless of how much they love each other.

My parents have an 11-year age gap, and when they met, I think they were more or less at the same stage in life. For a long time, my dad felt younger because he had a younger wife next to him (in my opinion), but now he is becoming more of a homebody
