With satay you're usually asked you want ketupat (the white thing you ate), that's compacted rice, red onion and cucumber.

It's a rice cake called ketupat, which is often compressed rice folded into young palm or coconut leaves and then boiled. Its often cut smaller, so you can skewer it and dip into the satay sauce.

The fish in the banana leaf is known otah2 or otak2, which is minced fish (often mackerel) with spices and grilled in the same pit as the satay.
