Them same man, i use casa too, it friendly, and i think my laptop worse than yours, it only have i3 6006u, 4gb ram and 120gb ssd, i control it by ssh it like u control it without to use the homelab, just use another laptop or pc and turn on cmd

As someone who has used CasaOS, I think its not good. While the UI is good, installing Dockers might be a bit harder for beginners than installing them normally via terminal. I think it would be better to make own web dashboard, use SSH or install Proxmox. Its my opinion btw.
