@klkbuilds: Continuing the backyard project. After breaking up the old patio, I found two completely rotted deck posts. They were sitting in the dirt between the footing and the concrete, so it was only a matter of time before they failed. I dug down to all three footings, including the 6x6 support. It wasn’t rotten yet, but I’m replacing it too so I can raise all the posts onto steel post bases above the new concrete.
