Light deadass only lost to near because of plot. Tf you mean gevanni perfectly copied an entire death note full of names in just one night so perfectly that mikami couldn’t tell the difference under a microscope, that’s not even humanly possible. Then there’s light somehow not thinking of a backup plan in case the notebook was a fake. Literally all he had to do was tell mikami to test the notebook before hand and keep a back up page from the real notebook hidden on his body somewhere for the worst case scenario. You can tell after L died they just rushed the ending and it seems like the author mentally checked out after that point
