@tastespell: Stop buying crackers. Make these instead. 🍅 If you’ve got a tin of tomatoes in the cupboard, you’re already halfway to a really good homemade snack. These crispy tomato oat crackers are made with high-quality canned whole peeled tomatoes from Italy and Europe, giving them rich tomato flavour without needing fresh tomatoes or anything complicated. They’re perfect for dips, cheese, snack boards, lunchboxes, or those moments when you want something crunchy but homemade. Simple ingredients, proper flavour, and a very good reason to keep a tin of tomatoes in the pantry. Save this recipe for your next homemade snack. Full recipe: Tomato Oat Crackers Ingredients ● 220g high-quality canned whole peeled tomatoes ● 150g rolled oats ● 2 tbsp olive oil ● ½ tsp salt ● 1 tsp dried oregano ● ½ tsp garlic granules ● ½ tsp smoked paprika ● ½ tsp nigella seeds ● 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds Method: Blend the tomatoes until smooth. Add the rolled oats, olive oil, salt, oregano, garlic granules, and smoked paprika. Blend until well combined. Spread the mixture thinly (2–3 mm) onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle evenly with the nigella seeds and toasted sesame seeds, then gently press them into the surface. Score into crackers using a pizza cutter or knife. Bake at 160°C fan / 180°C conventional for 30–40 minutes, until crisp and golden. Allow to cool completely before breaking into individual crackers.

The Hairy Egg :
Not to "bean soup theory" this, I don't like tomatoes but this is such a good idea, I'm now trying to think of a way of doing this but with parmesan cheese and not have them a congealed/lumpy mess.
