Why not just create another 00 that isn't Bond but is black? Idk why people want to race swap every character instead of creating new compelling stories. Imagine if they just made a version of Peter Parker mixed instead of giving us Miles Morales, we would've been robbed of a great character.

the logic? James Bond is a fictional spy character who's only requirement would be to have a brittish accent while King was a specific living African American historical figure that fought for civil rights.

A 007 has a license to kill, so there can be more than one 007 technically… But there is only one James Bond, and if you have read the books written by Ian Flemming you know that Mr. Bond has a history in terms of his service, in terms of his ethnicity, and in terms of his family history. Yes he is a fictional character, but even British natives understand the origins of James Bond and ethnicity is part of it. even Idris Elba has admitted that he is not right for the role, plus the fact he admitted he is also too old for the role

it makes sense in the plot, you don't need a full hearted 007 we already had a 007 black woman in the last film and still didn't really work do what John Wick did make it a spin off idk 008, 009, 002, 003.

Idris is too old. Roger Moore was considered old when he was cast as Bond. He was 46 at the release of his first film. Need someone in their 30s.
