I’m a Jersey girl 58Y/O and back in 83. I was 15 years old and I want to Rider University to see my favorite singer Eddie Money and this hair long rock band opened up and all these college kids, including myself but remind you I was 15 cause it was open to the public and at that time nobody knew who this group was. Well, it did turn out to be Bon Jovi.

Saw them open up for Sammy Hagar back in the day. They rocked. I think the Runaway album is their best. Got burned out of them once Slippery when wet hit the charts

I was (am) a big Jovi fan, since Slippery. (Everything after Crush was bad). Never understood the Runaway hype.

He was the main band with new Skid Row as an opener. Had 5th row seats and I took my mom! She rented a limo. It was so good. No cameras allowed but I snuck one in. One of the best days of my life. Except the limo driver was late so we missed most of skid row. They turned out to be one of my fav bands as well❤️
