use dominant eye, to find dominant eye make a triangle with both hands (point to pointer, thumb to thumb) and pull the shape toward your face. your brain SHOULD always pull your hands to the dominant eye. if it doesn't good luck you don't have a dominant 😂

One of your eyes is dominant just like your hands. To figure out which one is domininant, for a triangle with your fingers with your arms extended and put something some distance in the center of the triangle. Now close and open each eye individually. The eye open with the object in the center is your dominant eye

its because your unconsciously lining up the scope/sights with your dominant eye, hence the head tilt, so when you switch eyes its not lined up anymore and therefore looks off despite not actually being off
