Would you try beef and lamb on your pizza? 🍕 That’s what brought me to Levant Pizzeria, a new halal pizza and Turkish restaurant at Park North in San Antonio, Texas! The whole menu is halal, the prices are affordable, and they make their pizza dough from scratch throughout the day. For the beef and lamb gyro pizza, they shave the meat right off the rotisserie and pile it onto the pizza with red onions and extra cheese. That was my favorite pizza! My favorite Turkish dish was the lahmacun, a thin, crispy flatbread topped with seasoned beef and piled with fresh veggies. They also serve boat-shaped Turkish pide and gyros with bread they make by hand. And that sweet, fruity Turkish soda?
